In a nutshell, this song is about the creator and his/her creations. Sirivennela describes (rather analyzes) by identifying two distinct phases in the creator’s life namely 1) Creation phase 2) the Cool off period before the next creation. And the cycle (చక్రం) of these two phases continues!
In both the phases the creator is “alone”. This point is captured by the line “ఒంటరినై అనవరతం కంటున్నాను నిరంతరం”. i.e., In both the phases, I am alone (అనవరతం = continuously) and so the “creation phase” is happening (నిరంతరం = continually). [Isn't that one heck of a logic!]

Now the creator can be anybody who creates in any field. He may be a Poet, Sun, Shiva, Vishnu or anybody you know who creates something.
The lyrics are directly focused on a Poet and Sun. ఛరణం1 is about creation phase of Poet. ఛరణం2 is about creation phase of the Sun. ఛరణం3 is directly about cool-off phase of Poet, (indirectly of the Sun as well).

After going through the lyric and analyzing, it is PRETTY EVIDENT there is no వైరాగ్యం in the concept as Sirivennela gaaru CLEARLY mentioned in the above interview. Even though the tune is catchy with వైరాగ్యం!

ఛరణం1:
I am the poet/writer (కవినై)
I am the poetry/prose (కవితనై), i.e I have to simulate myself as ALL the characters in the poetry or prose, which leads to
I am the hero, I am the heroine, I am the villain, I am the comedian etc (I am the protagonist and also the antagonist) I have to simulate all the characters myself, I have to do the proper justice to each one’s point of view (భార్యనై, భర్తనై) [Also it can be interpreted as I am both the mom & dad of the creation]
I have to write about spring & fall (మల్లెల దారిలో & మంచు ఎడారిలో), i.e., comedy, horror, romance, social, crime, fiction etc.
I have to write about happiness & sadness (పన్నీటి జయగీతాలు & కన్నీటి జలపాతాలు) same thing again
I have to enjoy this process, I have to travel with myself (నాతో నేను అనుగమిస్తూ, నాతో నేనే రమిస్తూ)
As a poet I have to do this alone (ఒంటరినై), without giving up / always (అనవరతం) and conceiving (కంటున్నాను) ఒంటరినై అనవరతం కంటున్నాను నిరంతరం - as explained before.
I am writing a variety of dreams, stories, words, songs, the color/drama in them, the colorful themes, volumes (కలల్ని,కథల్ని,మాటల్ని,పాటల్ని,రంగుల్ని,రంగవల్లుల్ని,కావ్యకన్యల్ని),
I am doing this selflessly to the society for the others happiness, in turn my happiness (ఆడపిల్లల్ని figuratively).
I am doing this for everybody (to the society) yet I am alone (జగమంత కుటుంబం నాది, ఏకాకి జీవితం నాది).

ఛరణం2: (I am the sun “Ravi”)
I am the eye of the sky (మింటికి కంటిని నేనై), - [I am the Sun]
I am the fire in that eye (కంటను మంటను నేనై) - [I am the Sun]
I am the moon [which is the reflection of Sun] - (మంటల మాటున వెన్నెల నేనై)
I am the Sun in the form of moon - (వెన్నెల పూతల మంటను నేనై)
in summary, I am the Sun, Moon, day and night (రవినై, శశినై, దివమై, నిశినై)
The same meaning as in Charanam 1 (నాతో నేను సహగమిస్తూ..నాతో నేనే రమిస్తూ.. ఒంటరినై ప్రతినిమిషం కంటున్నాను నిరంతరం)
I am creating the rays (కిరణాల్న)
rays like deers (కిరణాల హరిణాల్ని),
feet of the deers (హరిణాల చరణాల్ని),
the movements of the feet (చరణాల చలనాన)
and the destination of them in the long journey (కనరాని గమ్యాల కాలాన్ని)
I am the creator of this magic. (ఇంద్రజాలాన్ని)
I am doing this for everybody (to the society) yet I am alone (జగమంత కుటుంబం నాది, ఏకాకి జీవితం నాది).

ఛరణం3:
After I wrote and sent out the song, I am left with my heart. (గాలి పల్లకిలోన తరలిన పాట పాప ఊరేగివెడలె, గొంతువాకిలిని మూసి మరలి తను మూగబోయి నా గుండెమిగిలే). I, the Sun/Poet, did create this poetry/(rays, players) with my heart.
Between each of these song/ray creations, I am resting and recharging (నా హృదయమే నా లోగిలి)
I am left with my heart. I am the creator (నా హృదయమే నా పాటకి తల్లి) - I am having a sense of accomplishment.
I need somebody to talk to / to divert my attention or rest before I take up the next song. (నా హృదయమే నాకు ఆలి) Figuratively my interpreting is - it as a companion. For a male creator it is the wife. For a woman creator it is the husband.
In that lonely process, detachment process, suddenly a new flash for the next song (నా హృదయములో ఇది సినీవాలి) (సినీవాలి = చంద్రవంక కనిపించే అమావాస్య రాత్రి)
I am doing this for everybody (to the society) yet I am alone (జగమంత కుటుంబం నాది, ఏకాకి జీవితం నాది).

If you put ఛరణం 1 & 2 side by side and start observing the parallels & analogies throughout both the ఛరణంs, in ఛరణం2 it is (రవినై, శశినై) (Sun, moon) and analogously in ఛరణం1 it is (భార్యనై, భర్తనై) (Male, Female).
This also analogous to (జగమంత కుటుంబం, ఏకాకి జీవితం) and (సంసార సాగరం, సన్యాసం శూన్యం). These two superficially look conflicting but they are complimentary to the human life in general!
