Five individuals, in no way related to each other: A slum dweller who wants to get rich quick, a self-centered & ambitious upcoming Rock Star, a prostitute who wants to self-manage her business by running away, a debt ridden cotton weaver who wants to raise his grand son through proper education, and an “ill-treated by stereotypes” but good-natured muslim, all living their individual lives independently chooses a New year’s day to do their “most ambitious” life-turning/self-liberating event. Rest is all Sirivennela gaari conceptualization (rather universalization) of this background song!

Highlights
Today May 20, 2010 is Sirivennela gaari 55th birthday!
Incidentally this is the first song that Sirivennela gaaru wrote for a 2010 released movie, i.e. Vedam.

Sirivennela gaaru @ the zenith of his philosophical thought process; distilling it to the simplest of words without losing an iota of its conceptual prowess, and yet attachable to a tune!

Observe the universalization of the concept to not just those five individuals but any human being!
And the reference to Jesus Christ with నువ్వాగిన చోటే కాలం ఆగుతుంది అంటూ లోకం చదివే నీకధ కక్కడ శ్రీకారం చుట్టు (Wherever you stop (i.e., cease), as if the time stops there, and let your story “begin” right from there to be read by every human!).
Isn’t it a reference to where the “AD” started i.e., after Jesus Christ left the earth (with “BC” stopping at that “time”.)
Since this song comes in the begining of the movie, no usage of the word “death”!

Time is the gap between thought and thought …donot recollect past and do not think of future just enjoy and accept the present as it is…
…అన్నది జిడ్డు కృష్ణమూర్తి గారి తత్వం . దానిని `ఇప్పుడు కాకుంటే ఇంకెపుడూ కానట్టే ‘ అని ఎంత సూక్ష్మం గా చెప్పారో గురువుగారు . శ్రీ శాస్త్రి గారికి అనంత ఆయురారోగ్యాలని ప్రసాదించాలని ఆయన జన్మ దిన సందర్భంగా ఆ ఆదిబిక్షువు ని అందరం వేడుకుందాం .

లోకం చదివే నీకధకిపుడే శ్రీకారం చుట్టు..
these lines recharged me with energy and enthusiasm when i got tired in my civil services preparation on one side and family responsibilities and work pressures on the other side.
finally i could study with rigour if i listened to this song once.. finally my efforts and motivation by Guruji proved fruitful.. I could secure 266th rank in Civil Services Exam 2010.
I can’t forget this song and other such songs written by Guruji which guided me when i became hopeless in a long and monotonous preparation..
The services of this website in maintaining a library of such songs is really commendable.
